Is someone you know vulnerable to financial abuse?

Warning Signs of Vulnerability: While no one circumstance or incident may be a true indicator of financial vulnerability, a combination of such circumstances or increased frequency of incidents may indicate the need for action.
The Needs Assessment: Once a person demonstrates signs of vulnerability and is perceived to be at risk, it becomes the responsibility of the observer to notify appropriate individuals, organizations, and/or agencies for professional evaluations of special needs.
What Should Be Done: Should the needs assessment determine that a person may be vulnerable to financial abuse, and assistance with daily financial matters is advisable, the choice of the right type of assistance is important.
